Tonalea Middle School is located in south Scottsdale, just north of the Tempe border in the Coronado Learning Community.  Nestled amidst a lush landscape of towering trees and sprawling greenery, our middle school offers a serene sanctuary for learning. The school's architecture reflects an innovative design, with each grade level housed in its own distinct pod. These pods, characterized by their open-concept layouts and abundant natural light, foster a sense of community and belonging among students and teachers alike. Within these spaces, collaborative learning thrives as students engage in lively discussions, group projects, and hands-on activities.
